Current Projects & Ideas

We are always busy working on new and innovative software to make everybody's life easier. If you have questions or would like to invest into any particular project, don't hesitate to contact us.

     Prof.Phreak

Prof.Phreak is a program to simulate a human conversation. Sometime in the past, some Artificial Intelligence researcher wrote a joke program named Eliza, which would talk to people, and fool them into thinking it was a real person. Prof.Phreak is the next generation of that. You can check out the current proof of concept version here.

The program is currently implemented in Perl, uses a large database of conversation items, and has a CGI interface (courtesy of MakeHTML III). You can learn about the format of the database, programs abilities, and other such things at the main Prof.Phreak's page.

The eventual goal for this system is to assist people with basic questions they may have. Maybe use it in place of a customer service representative. Automatically and correctly answer most customer query e-mails with a seemingly personal response. Answer most basic questions someone may have about some particular product, etc., again, all making it appear as though the person is not talking to an automated system, but actually has the pleasure of a real human ;-)

     MakeXML

MakeXML is a successor to MakeHTML III. The goals of the project have been shifted a bit from what was originally planned.

Revised MakeXML Goals:

  • This whole thing is about having information(1), and generating impressive gui(2) to present the information.
  • Generation has to be easily modifiable and configurable.
  • Generation has to be reasonably fast and efficient to have the ability of handling huge websites of at least 50,000 separate pages/resources.

(1) information is anything you can represent in a computer. It can be a database, file, image, video, audio, etc.

(2) gui: for all types of hardware/software configurations. Slimed down version for older browsers. Plain text versions. Versions for mobile devices, cell phones, PDAs. Graphics, Video, Audio, HTML, XML, etc. Generating CGI, PHP, JSP, Servlets, etc.
